Monitoring of terrestrial magnetic field

Monitoring of magnetic field includes:

  • absolute measurements of declination D and inclination I of the field with help of DI-magnetometer and module F with help of proton magnetometer with periodicity 3-4 times a month with purpose of determination of reference lines;
  • variation measuring of magnetic-field vector (F,H,Z,D components) with help of vibration equipment with photorecording;
  • determination of standard K-indexes of geomagnetic activity (3-hours values).

There are the following archive of geomagnetic data at the station:

  • hourly magnetic digital data (F,H,Z,D components) since 1967;
  • analog geomagnetic data since 1967.
  • digital data X,Y,Z with 1 sec descretization (sine May 2003) and F with 5 sec descretization (since March of 2003)
