Examples of vibration sources

Vibration source on an air pillow
The microactivator of debalance type is mounted at a top of a round conic platform of 16-m diameter. Between the platform and a ground there is an air pillow of variable volume, which provides a resonant mode of oscillations in a frequency range from 2 to 6 Hz. Due to resonant effect the force affecting on a ground can reach 500 tons.

Hydroresonant vibrosource
The vibrator excites an acting force with help of vertically oscillating volume of water of 60-tons weight in a range of frequencies 2-10 Hz. The source can be scaled for creation of vibrators producing the forcing effect as great as several thousand tons.

Complex VIBROLOCATOR
Range of frequencies - from 10 to 70 Hz. Amplitude of compelling force - 10 tons. Self-propelled installation is assembled on a base of a common cater-pillar tractor. The vibrator is applied in geophysical exploration in the Siberia and Extreme North environment.

Vibration source CVO (Krasnodar)
Two vibration sources of CVO type with amplitude of disturbing force 100 tons. Frequency range is from 3 to 8 Hz, they are fastened accordingly, that allows to radiate of coherent waves. These vibration source are installed in Krasnodar Territory at the test ground of Kuban State University.

Vibration source CVO (Baikal)
A working vibration source CVO of debalance type with amplitude of disturbing force 100 tons. Frequency range is from 3 to 12 Hz. It is installed at Baikal test ground, has an additional cable anchorage to a ground.

Stationary vibration source CVM-100
The centrifugal vibrator CV-100 of debalance type with amplitude of compelling force of 100 tons. An effective frequency range is 5-10 Hz. The vibrator has an anchorage supplied with system of an elastic decoupling between a platform and a ground. The seismograms have been obtained at distance of 320 km from the vibrosource, and the monochromatic signals were recorded at 1000-km distance.

Movable vibrosource CV-40
The movable vibration source CV-40 with amplitude of force of 40 tons. Modular design allows fast and simple disjointing onto compound blocks in field conditions, using mechanization of auxiliary operations, with subsequent delivery of the modules by a suitable on-ground, water or air transport.

Vibration source CVA of debalance type
The vibrator CVA of a centrifugal debalance type with amplitude of compelling force of 100 tons represents a design established on 5 anchorage piles by depth of 200 m, which allow to increase efficiency essentially, since the radiation affects on bed rocks. The vibrator was located at the Bystrovka test ground, recently has been demounted.
